FOCUS was developed by a veteran pastor and a seminary dean! After leading at the influential Vineyard Cincinnati Church for nearly thirty years, Dave Workman partnered with Dr. Tom Thatcher (Cincinnati Christian University) to develop the Elemental Churches Inventory. Based on Dave’s book, Elemental Leaders, the Inventory is a team-based assessment tool offering action steps toward church health and effectiveness. After years coaching churches of all sizes and stripes, Dave and Tom discovered that very few have an effective process for strategic planning. After a year of development and beta-testing, FOCUS was released to provide a team-building, affordable, gamified experience to empower leaders to fulfill the unique mission each church has.
